1. The height of the saddle and handlebars should be adjusted before using the electric bicycle to ensure the comfort of riding and reduce fatigue. The height of the saddle and handlebar should vary from person to person. Generally, the height of the saddle is suitable for the rider to be able to land on one foot (the whole vehicle should be basically upright). The height of the handlebar is suitable for the rider to lay his forearm flat and relax his shoulder and arm. However, the adjustment of saddle and handlebar should first ensure that the insertion depth of passing pipe and handle riser must be higher than the safety marking line. 2. Check and adjust the front and rear brakes before using the electric bicycle. The front brake is controlled by the right brake lever, and the rear brake is controlled by the left brake lever. The adjustment of the front and rear brakes is suitable for reliable braking when the left and right brake handle handles reach half of the stroke; the brake pads are excessively worn and should be replaced in time.

The adjustment of the front and rear brakes is suitable for reliable braking when the left and right brake handle handles reach half of the stroke; the brake pads are excessively worn and should be replaced in time.
3. The tightness of the chain should be checked before the action of the electric bicycle. If the chain is too tight, the pedals will be laborious when riding, but if it is too loose, it will easily vibrate and rub against other parts. The sag of the chain is 1-2mm, which is generally adjusted properly when riding without pedals. When adjusting the chain, loosen the rear wheel nut first, screw in and out the left and right chain adjusting screws evenly, adjust the tightness of the chain, and tighten the rear wheel nut again.
4. Check the lubrication of the chain before using the electric bicycle. Handle and observe whether the chain shaft of the chain rotates flexibly and whether the chain links are seriously rusted. If the rust or rotation is not flexible, should add the right amount of lubricating oil, serious should replace the chain.
5. Before riding an electric bicycle, check whether the tire pressure, handlebar steering flexibility, front and rear wheel rotation flexibility, circuit, battery power, motor working condition, lights, horns, fasteners, etc. meet the requirements.
(1) Insufficient tire pressure will increase the friction between the tire and the road surface, thereby shortening the mileage; it will also reduce the flexibility of the handlebar rotation and affect the comfort and safety of riding. When the air pressure is insufficient, the air pressure should be supplemented in time. The tire pressure should be in accordance with the recommend air pressure in the "Electric Bicycle User Manual" or the specified air pressure on the tire surface.
(2) The handlebar rotation is not flexible, if there is a jam, stiff point or tight point, it should be lubricated or adjusted in time. Lubrication generally uses butter, calcium-based or lithium-based grease; when adjusting, first loosen the front fork lock nut, rotate the front fork to block, and when the handlebar rotation flexibility meets the requirements, lock the front fork lock nut.
(3) the front and rear wheel rotation flexibility is not good, will increase the rotation friction, increase power consumption, thereby reducing the mileage. Therefore, in the event of a failure should be timely lubrication and maintenance, lubrication generally use butter, calcium-based or lithium-based grease; if it is a shaft skin failure, you can replace the steel ball or shaft skin, if it is a motor failure should be repaired by a professional maintenance unit.
(4) When checking the circuit, turn on the power switch to check whether the circuit is unblocked, whether the connector is plugged firmly and reliably, whether the safety tube works normally, especially whether the connection between the battery output terminal and the cable is firm and reliable. Found that the fault should be eliminated in time.
(5) Before traveling, check the power of the battery and judge whether the power of the battery is sufficient according to the mileage of the trip. If the power is not sufficient, it should be properly supplemented by human riding to avoid undervoltage of the battery.
(6) The working condition of the motor should also be checked before traveling. Start the motor and adjust its speed to observe and listen to the operation of the motor. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, it should be repaired in time.
(7) Before using electric bicycles, check the lights, horns, etc., especially when traveling at night. The headlights should be bright, and the beam should generally fall within the range of 5-10 meters in front of the front of the car; the horn should be loud and not hoarse; the turn signal should flash normally, the steering indicator should be normal, and the flashing frequency of the light should be 75-80 times/minute; The display should be normal.
(8) Before traveling, check whether the main fasteners are fastened, such as the fasteners of the horizontal tube, the riser, the saddle, the saddle tube, the front wheel, the rear wheel, the center axle, the lock nut, the pedals, etc. It should not be loose. If the fasteners are loose or fall off, they should be fastened or replaced in time. The recommend distance of each fastener is generally: 18N.m for the horizontal tube, vertical tube, saddle, saddle tube, front wheel, pedal, and 30N.m for the center axle lock nut and rear wheel.
6, electric bicycles as far as possible do not use zero start (that is, in situ start), especially in the load and uphill place should be prohibited. When starting, you should first use manpower to ride, and then switch to electric driving when it reaches a certain speed, or directly use electric assistance to drive. This is because when starting, the motor must first overcome the static friction. At this time, the current is large, close to or even reach the resistance current, which makes the battery work with high current and accelerates the damage of the battery.
7. When riding electric bicycles, try to use human assistance or electric assistance, especially when going uphill, carrying heavy loads, driving in the wind or when the road is bumpy, human assistance must be provided. In this way, the battery can be prevented from discharging at high current for a long time and damaging the battery, which is beneficial to increase the mileage of one charge and extend the service life of the battery.
8. Electric bicycles are not suitable for roads with uneven or steep slopes (generally ≤ 8 °). In case of such a road, you should drive or get off slowly. Driving on this kind of road, the working environment of the motor, controller, battery, etc. is poor, which will reduce the service life and be easily damaged.
9. Frequent braking and starting should be avoided when driving electric bicycles. Before braking or at the same time, the speed control should be turned back to the position, and human riding should be used as much as possible in the area supported by the road. In this way, it is possible to avoid damage to the battery by a large current at the time of starting.
The standard load capacity of electric bicycles is 75kg, and overloading should be avoided as much as possible. If the overload driving, should use human riding, human assisted way.
11. When using electric bicycles in cold weather, human-assisted or electric-assisted driving should be used as much as possible; and attention should also be paid to the battery's power and voltage instructions. In general, when the weather is cold, the discharge depth of the battery should be appropriately reduced, and the undervoltage state must not be driven. This is because the charging capacity and discharge capacity of the battery are reduced when the weather is cold.
12. Electric bicycles are not afraid of rain and snow. However, the water level shall not exceed the lower edge of the bearing seat of the electric hub when involved in water to prevent damage to the motor caused by water ingress. After riding in rain and snow, it should be wiped clean as soon as possible; if the electrical device is soaked in water, it should also be dried with a hair dryer. So as not to cause iron corrosion and circuit leakage, short circuit and other faults.
13. When riding in rain and snow, the driving speed should be appropriately reduced. Pay attention to increasing the braking distance to prevent sideslip and U-turn, so as not to endanger personal safety.
14, electric bicycles should avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, storage should be placed in a cool place. Sun exposure will accelerate the aging of paints, plastic parts, rubber parts and electronic components, reducing their service life and reliability.
15, battery charging should use matching or manufacturer-specified model of charger, can not be mixed. When charging, the battery and charger should be located in a ventilated and cool place, placed safely, away from flammable and explosive materials, avoid high temperature, humidity and water, prohibit covering with articles, and prohibit contact with infants and young children. When charging, first confirm that the voltage and frequency of the power grid meet the requirements of the charger, then connect the battery to the output terminal of the charger, and connect the input terminal of the charger to the power grid; after charging is completed, disconnect the power grid connection and then disconnect the charger from the battery. Lead-acid batteries generally take 6-8 hours to charge.
16. When the battery reaches the undervoltage state, it should be stopped and charged as soon as possible. It is forbidden to use the recovery voltage of the battery, and prohibit the deep discharge and over discharge of the battery, so as to charge as you use it, so that it is always in a state of high power. It is recommended to recharge at least once a day.
17, the storage battery should be placed in a cold, moderate air humidity, the battery should be kept upright; long-term storage should be sufficient electricity and should be regularly replenished, generally charged once a month. If the lead-acid battery is stored for a long time, a few drops of distilled water can be added to offset the evaporation of water and reduce the vulcanization of the plate.
18, the first use of electric bicycles should carefully read the "instruction manual" to understand the performance of electric bicycles. Don't lend a ride to someone who can't handle an electric bike.
19. People with mental illness, alcoholics and other disabled people who are not suitable for riding are prohibited from using electric bicycles; people with heart disease, epilepsy and color blindness should be cautious when riding.
20. Electric bicycles are non-motorized vehicles. When riding, you should abide by traffic rules and drive on non-motorized lanes or local lanes.
21. Electric bicycles should be stored in a cool, ventilated, dry place away from corrosive liquids and gases; when storing, the whole vehicle should be upright with sufficient tire pressure; heavy objects should not be loaded on the body; and the battery should be stored separately.
